The Quality in the Hospital

The Direction of the Clinic considers of utmost importance the implementation of the Quality Policy in the Hospital.
Dr. Rizk Clinic is proud of having constituted its own “Quality Management System” in order to provide the best care as well as medical and surgical treatments to all its patients.

« Patient Satisfaction » et « Constant Improvement of our Services » constitute two keywords for all the teams of the hospital.


                      WE ARE CERTIFIED ISO 9001 : 2000
                      
Dr. Rizk Clinic was the first hospital in Lebanon
          to obtain ISO 9001: 2000 Certification in May
          2002. This certificate confirms that the hospital
          complies with the norms of quality at the
          international level.
          
          
In May 2005, the Clinic was once again recertified as
          ISO 9001: 2000 thus for a period of 3 years.



THE QUALITY PROCESS IS ALSO REPRESENTED BY VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS & UNITS IN THE CLINIC
WE ARE ACCREDITED BY THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
In addition to the Certification, the hospital is accredited by the Ministry of Health in Lebanon. It was certified for the first time in February 2002 and recently in October 2005.
The Accreditation procedure aims at ensuring that the conditions of security and care quality to the patient are taken into consideration by health establishments.

As such, the security and quality of health care and  services provided by Dr. Rizk Clinic are recognized  at the international level (ISO 9001: 2000 Certificate) and at the national level (Accreditation Program of the Ministry of Health)

• The Infection Control Committee
We have created this committee in order to reduce the risk of infections within the hospital. It is made up of a team from various specialties that work in cooperation with all the Departments and Units of the Clinic. Its mission is:
- To organize and coordinate the actions of Infections’ Control
- To inform and train the hospital personnel in all issue related to hygiene
- To ensure a surveillance of the Hospital’s Nosocomial Infections rate
The objective of this committee is to provide on a daily basis the highest security level in health care.

• The « Quality Management » Unit
This Unit aims at guiding and following up the quality formalities in the overall Departments and Units of the Clinic.
A complete procedure for a satisfaction survey of patients is implemented permitting to evaluate the precise level of patients’ satisfaction (In and Out).
Moreover, a
« Complaint Management Unit » has been also established in order to receive and manage the various complaints of our patients.

• The « Quality Control, Medical
  Section » Unit
It aims at identifying the most important elements of health care through a daily collection and evaluation of indicators and data concerning key aspects of quality. In case problems may arise over these indicators or data, correctional actions are undertaken immediately.
