Requirements: 

Education/Diploma/Certification:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in pharmacy or a pharm D from an accredited institution.
Work Experience:
• Experience over 7 years as hospital pharmacist and minimum 2 years in management position.

Required Skills: 

• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical requirements (the General Rules of Good Practice of Hospital Pharmacy).
• Good in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
• Evidence of leadership in pharmacy practice and professional associations.
• Evidence of expertise in education/training of students and residents.
• Working knowledge of safety standards
• Highly organized and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)
Management Responsibilities and duties:
 Lead, plan, supervise, coordinate and execute all activities related to the pharmacy’s operations. Further Ensure Coordination with other departments on all operation issues.
 Oversee the automatic prescription filling system, coordinate effective communications within the pharmacy, the hospital and with suppliers.
 Support pharmacy staff by providing recognition, coaching, and where necessary, discipline. Control of attendance, absences, leaves of the pharmacy staff.
 Review and analysis reports, documents and guidelines, and confer with the Medical Administration to obtain the data needed to plan the service activities, such as new responsibilities, work progress, and obstacles or problems occur.
 Assign or delegate responsibility for specific work or functional activities and disseminates the service policy, including the quality policy.
 Oversee all aspects of support staff operations within the pharmacy and assure tasks are completed on time, accurately and efficiently.
 Analyze costs, propose and manage the central pharmacy budgets; provide timely investigation and corrective action to incidents/complaints and upholds and implements pharmacy goals.
 Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
 Evaluate current procedures and practices to achieve the objectives of the service and ensure all Company policies are strictly followed within the pharmacy and roles managed.
 Establish appropriate staffing levels, positions and scheduling to achieve departmental and hospital objectives.

Specific responsibilities and duties:

 Meet suppliers daily for orders, evaluations, and proposals for planned purchases.
 Receive and treat pharmaceutical products to evaluate and send them to the corresponding subsidiaries.
 Ensure compliance of pharmacy with drug licensing and certification needs.
 Control the quality of drug products to ensure that they meet standards of potency, purity, uniformity, stability and safety.
 Ensure proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, serums, biological, drugs and other pharmaceuticals products.
 Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies.
 Coordinate with the Ministry of Health concerning imported products and others.
 Control of the daily work of warehouse pharmacy and subsidiaries.
 Attend meetings in several committees
 Establish and coordinate the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
 Integrate pharmacy services with other hospital departments and the medical staff to establish a multidisciplinary approach to improving patient care.
 Assure compliance with standards of practice from accreditation organizations Joint Commission International.
 Play an active role in ensuring proper inventory control system including all invoices of received products, monitoring of stocks, and introduction of new items (approval or refusal, signed, or keep waiting for complete better check).
 Manage pharmacist Trainees and clinical pharmacist: Manage of attendance, absence, evaluation, plan of lectures (or symposiums).
 Prepare continuous protocols and procedures and guidelines for the ISO system for the Accreditation and JCI.
 Participates in clinical study drug.
 Coordinate with procurement department concerning the purchase process.
