8.5 hours / day (Monday --- Friday), 5 hours Saturday
Requirements: 

Education/Diploma/Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited university.
Work Experience:
• 1-2 years’ experience in IT Support, including part-time employment.

Required Skills: 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are absolutely necessary
• Effective verbal and written English skills
• Ability to perform tasks and prioritize in high-pressure environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of desktop hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, (network cards, hard disks, CDs, video cards, memory, sound cards, printers, MS Office, etc.)
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems implementation and administration
• Mac knowledge is an additional asset

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Diagnose and fixes users' problems associated with any desktop application or hardware including printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Install and/or upgrades desktop hardware and software.
• Maintain the Hospital users backup, Desktop Antivirus Server, ensures they are functioning correctly, reads logs, ensures software patches are up to date.
• Log open ticket call progress in the Helpdesk software on a daily basis. Responds to Helpdesk questions and provides training and technical assistance.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of all the equipment and systems supported by IT Support by keeping current with all documentation and by working with all IT department units.
• Provide follow up and progress updates to the end users. Trains new IT Support Administrators, ensuring that they are familiar with various functions, duties, documentation and personnel.
• Process all IT Support maintenance requests with external companies as well as internal processing with end users and concerned offices.
• Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
