Knowledge / know-how:
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Knowledge of Patient chart records.
Knowledge of Hospital practices.
Field of Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheet and database software)
• Minimum Languages: Arabic and English
• Preferred Languages: French is an asset

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Acts as the unit receptionist.
• Answers the telephone, and refers inquiries to nursing staff and physicians if needed. Communicates with other departments if and when needed.
• Receives and greets visiting doctors and medical students
• Performs clerical duties as required, manually or through in-house automated systems.
• Maintains accurate written and verbal communications.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with internal procedures, rules, and regulations adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Perform Nurses Record data entry and verify that documentation is incomplete
• Prepares overtime forms for staff on monthly basis.
• Prepares statically data for monthly and annual reports.
• Help in typing necessary documents in
• Coordinate with other departments at the medical center to ensure the smooth and proper functioning of the unit.
• Responsible for replenishment of stationary needed
• Prepare routine forms needed for various activities such as store requisitions.
• Place requisitions to secure unit and nursing station requirements, receive the requested supplies and stock them in an organized manner.
• Monitor utilization of supplies; receives and delivers supplies from pharmacy and stationary store.
• Fill patient charge slips accurately for all chargeable items.
• Assumes responsibility for meeting JCI required mandatory education, e.g., fire, safety, infection control and others.
