Requirements: 

Education/Diploma/Certification:

Minimum of high school or technical qualification is required.

Work Experience:

A Minimum experience of three years in Food Services Storekeeper position is required.

Required Skills: 
  • Good organizational and communication skills

  • Good technical skills to perform count and analysis.

  • Awareness in Storekeeping principles and practices, including modern record-keeping techniques, materials-handling systems.

  • Awareness in food safety and HACCP guidelines

  • Basic computer skills to perform routine operational tasks

  • In good physical shape and able to lift heavy weights
     

 

 

 

Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Receiving, storing and delivering goods in an accurate and timely manner
  • Inventory management
  • Keeping proper records of all stocks movements achieved thereby ensuring reliable data is proved
  • Maintain stocks replenishment in a timely fashion to the requesting units
  • Ensure adequate Health & Safety and Food Storage principles are followed in line with HAACP and Food Safety guidelines
  • Communicate with fellow coworkers and entity colleagues
  • Minimize the level of stock shrinkage, determine desirable stock levels and maintain accurate and detailed records of all stock movements both into and out of the food stores.
  • Applies storekeeping procedures and methods in arranging space, conducting inventory, estimating needs, maintaining and preparing records and reports as directed.
  • Check all stocks received into and going out of the stores to ensure accurate records are kept in securing the institution's assets.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the position.
