The First LAU Head & Neck Symposium

The Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine organized the First LAU Head and Neck Symposium. Led by highly specialized and renowned professionals from Lebanon and the United States, the symposium welcomed professionals from across a wide spectrum of healthcare fields to discuss the challenges of managing Head and Neck Oncology patients and fulfill the missions of education and research. The aim of this Symposium is to highlight the latest topics pertaining to diagnosing and managing head and neck tumors, a challenging and fast evolving discipline.

Dermatology Conference

After the great success of the first Dermatology Clinicopathologic Conference in 2017, sponsored by LSD, the Dermatology Department at Lebanese American University was hosting the same conference for the second time at our premises. High-quality cases, recruited from LAU department and other academic Dermatology departments in the region, were presented. The conference featured live patient viewing as well as vascular cases, pediatric cases and tumor cases and discussion of the clinical and histopathological correlations. Our guest speaker was Dr.
