Pharmacist

Requirements: 

 Minimum BS in Pharmacy. Pharm D is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

 Control the medication shortages.
 Prepare purchase requests for the pharmacy.
 Receive and control the pharmaceutical products.
 Prepare and control the daily distribution of pharmaceuticals products.
 Ensure that medications reach the patient in the correct form and dose.
 Check prescriptions to ensure there is no interaction and that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.
 Coordinate with the physicians and nursing staff to ensure the appropriateness of the prescribed medications and quantities.
 Take responsibility for the accurate dispensing and timely distribution of drugs and medicines to patients.
 Assure the weekly control of pharmaceutical stocks.
 Ensure medical products are stored appropriately and securely to guarantee freshness and potency.
 Control the expired products.
 Participate in the inventory count of medications.
 Participate in the Quality work (Policies, Procedures, KPI’s, Training, JCI and Accreditation requirements…).
 Contribute to scientific research activities: side effects, interaction among drugs, (new dosage form, molecule, etc.). Stay abreast of new or reformulated products being developed by medical and pharmaceutical researchers.
 Follow-up treatment, patient profile, relationships between physicians and pharmacists.
 Supervise and coach the work of technician aid and supply clerk.
 Lead process improvement activities involving medication distribution.

Secretary

Responsibilities and Duties:

 Organize and manage internal and external telephone lines.
 Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries and medical consultations.

Midwife

They may be involved in informing mothers on the proper way to take care for themselves during and after pregnancy and on the steps for caring for their newborns.
