Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Draw blood from in and out patients and collect fluid samples from patients. The fluid samples may include urine, saliva, sputum, phlegm, semen...
  • Perform pre-analytical processes including patient ID, phlebotomy, specimen labeling, specimen verification and receipt.
  • Prepare specimens and samples. Perform diagnostic tests on collected fluids and tissue specimens.

  • Follow established practices or standards for the input and presentation of information.
  • Ensure invoices related to goods received in different Hospital units (except Pharmacy) are entered within two working days.

Full-Time Faculty Position, Anesthesiology

The Department of Anesthesiology at the Lebanese American University’s Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine is interviewing for a Full Time Faculty position in Anesthesiology.

The candidate would preferably be an American board certified anesthesiologist, and would have documented experience in clinical practice, teaching and scholarly research. A fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia is required. Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia is a plus.
