The midwife assists the physicians during delivery and provides antenatal and postnatal advice, care and support to patient, their babies, their partners and their families.
 The midwife is responsible for the care of pregnant women, assisting them with their condition, from giving birth to assuring the health of the baby. They may be involved in informing mothers on the proper way to take care for themselves during and after pregnancy and on the steps for caring for their newborns.
 Assessing the condition of mothers during their pregnancy, labor, and post-partum.
 Diagnosing, monitoring, assisting and examining women during pregnancy and labor.
 Assessing the high risk pregnancy.
 Diagnosing, monitoring, assisting and examining women during pregnancy and labor.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Management Responsibilities and duties:
 Lead, plan, supervise, coordinate and execute all activities related to the pharmacy’s operations. Further Ensure Coordination with other departments on all operation issues.
 Oversee the automatic prescription filling system, coordinate effective communications within the pharmacy, the hospital and with suppliers.
 Support pharmacy staff by providing recognition, coaching, and where necessary, discipline. Control of attendance, absences, leaves of the pharmacy staff.
 Review and analysis reports, documents and guidelines, and confer with the Medical Administration to obtain the data needed to plan the service activities, such as new responsibilities, work progress, and obstacles or problems occur.
 Assign or delegate responsibility for specific work or functional activities and disseminates the service policy, including the quality policy.
 Oversee all aspects of support staff operations within the pharmacy and assure tasks are completed on time, accurately and efficiently.

Specific responsibilities and duties:

 Meet suppliers daily for orders, evaluations, and proposals for planned purchases.

 Control the quality of drug products to ensure that they meet standards of potency, purity, uniformity, stability and safety.
